About this site

LoveFreeRead is a romance site with two parts that stay separate. One part is for reading. The other is a catalog that helps you find a book and continue in a shop.

Stories are read here. Open a title and you get the picture, the name, and the full text on that page. There is no shop button on a story, because the story is the visit. You can read it from the first line to the last without leaving the site. New stories will be added the same way: a picture, a title, and the complete text.

The catalog genre called Love Stories is not this section. That name belongs to books in the catalog. Stories in the menu are the ones written to be read on LoveFreeRead.

The book catalog is a guide. A card shows the cover and the title. The book page shows a larger picture, the author, a short line from the description, and the rest of the description below. If a book has more than one picture, you can switch the large image. The small picture and the large picture trade places. Extra pictures replace only the large one.

The same page lists the author, the genre, and the ASIN, so you can tell exactly which edition you are looking at. Genre names are the names of the catalog. They are not rewritten into a shorter list.

Ratings on a book page are the ratings we have for that title. LoveFreeRead does not invent stars or review counts. If a number is missing, the page does not fill the gap with a guess.

You do not buy the book on this site. The page ends in a button named for the shop it opens. Right now that shop is Amazon. The link uses affiliate tag daisy0770-20. If you buy through it, LoveFreeRead may earn a commission from Amazon. The price you pay does not change. The button is there so the shop is obvious, not hidden in the text.

Another shop can be added later, and only for the books that have it. A book with one shop keeps one button. A book with two shops will show two, each named for its shop. The page will not send you to a store that is not listed on that book.

You can look through the catalog by genre, or search by title, author, or genre. The counts in the bar under the menu are links: the number of books opens the full list, the number of stories opens the stories, and the number of genres opens every genre.
